Job Description
A multinational company in contract logistics, freight forwarding, and customs
brokerage. A state-of-the-art warehouse looking for an Operations Manager.
Role Purpose:
Assist, and work with customers to deliver the services.
Manage resources that are assigned for SCA and provide good customer support
Work with vendors to deliver the services and conduct meetings periodically to align the business needs.
Help and co-ordination with managers with their day-to-day responsibilities.
Manage System and command center operations for IT projects.
Delegate tasks and activities to team members and supervise them on a day-to-day basis.
Assists the Team with the administration and maintenance of the IT operations.
Exposure to Cloud (Public & Private) environment
A deep understanding of SLA tracking, KPI, and Management Reporting is essential
Strong knowledge of Information security, Compliance, and IT Laws adoption
Document all system processes and emergency procedures.
Understand and establish backup and data protection methodologies.
Liaise with IT Vendors.
Serves information processing by planning, organizing, and evaluating IT operations; managing staff.
Lead the IT security implementation efforts for the operations. Participate in the ISMS team and contribute the efforts for security enhancements
IT Platform Exposure:
Good knowledge of system and IT operations.
Resource & Time Management and project handling capabilities, decision-making process.
ITIL Knowledge and Implementation experience.
Technical Skill Sets:
Diagnosis and Troubleshooting abilities are needed on network issues.
Clear identification of Infrastructure needs in Request For Proposal (RFP) documents and preparing design and BOQ in line with the proposals.
Software/Hardware Tools:
Knowledge of Operating Systems, Databases, and Integration platforms.
Proficient experience working in a Microsoft Server environment.
Exposure to virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of Web, MS Exchange, and SQL server will be an added advantage
Strong understanding of Server, Virtualization, and Storage architecture, implementation, and support
Experience supporting software developer Engineering environments
Working knowledge of helpdesk or service desk tools based on ITIL fundamentals.
Management Skills:
Performance Management, Feedback process, Project Management, Teamwork, Supervision, Staffing, Business Knowledge, Technical Leadership, Technical Management, IT infra budgeting.

Keep the team focused, productive, and motivated
Refine SLA’s and ensure designs/architecture are in place to meet needs
Work with the Security team to support/enable Security related projects and initiatives
Work with the team to refine and create related policies, procedures, and best practices
Experience with Data Center & IT management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Computer Application, or Similar.
- Exp. in Government Sector/Private Sector.
- Minimum 6 Years to 8 Years of Experience in a similar environment.
- MCSE/MCSA/CCNA certification.
- Project management and ITIL is an added advantage.
