Job Description
- Develop BIM Models: Create and manage 3D architectural models throughout the design, construction, and operational stages using BIM software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar.
- Coordination: Ensure the integration of architectural, structural, and MEP systems within the BIM model, identifying and resolving any clashes or issues.
- Design & Documentation: Assist in the production of detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation from the BIM model for all project phases.
- Clash Detection: Utilize clash detection tools to identify conflicts between architectural, structural, and MEP systems and provide solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure all BIM projects are in line with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead a team of BIM professionals, including modelers and coordinators, fostering effective communication and collaboration. Ensure that all team members adhere to established BIM standards and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in BIM modeling.
- Experience with large-scale projects is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ArchiCAD, and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building systems.
- BIM certifications or training is highly desirable (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, buildingSMART certification).
