Job Description

  1. Develop and implement fabric quality assurance procedures, guidelines, and standards in collaboration with the quality assurance team.
  2. Establish and uphold quality control checkpoints at various stages of the fabric manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to set standards.
  3. Conduct systematic inspections and audits on a regular basis to identify any quality issues, defects, and non-compliance within the fabric production.
  4. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  5. Lead and supervise a team of fabric quality control inspectors, providing guidance, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
  6. Efficiently assign tasks and responsibilities to the team to ensure the smooth execution of quality control activities throughout the fabric manufacturing process.
  7. Cultivate a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the fabric quality control team.
  8. Utilize advanced testing methods and equipment to perform in-depth analysis of fabric samples, ensuring compliance with specified standards.
  9. Monitor and document test results, identifying trends and proactively recommending preventive measures to maintain high-quality standards.
  10. Maintain meticulous records of fabric quality assessments, inspections, and detailed test results for future reference.
  11. Prepare comprehensive reports on fabric quality performance, presenting findings to management for strategic decision-making.
  12. Collaborate closely with fabric suppliers, ensuring their adherence to quality requirements and promptly resolving any quality issues that may arise.
  13. Engage with customers to address quality concerns, provide necessary documentation, and effectively resolve any disputes related to fabric quality.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in fabric quality control, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role 5-7 years.
  3. Strong knowledge of fabric manufacturing processes, textile testing methods, and quality assurance principles.
  4. Familiarity with industry quality standards, such as ISO 9001 or similar certifications.
  5. Proficient in using quality control tools and software for data analysis and reporting.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot defects or anomalies in fabrics.
  7. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  9. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
