Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team. The Senior Architect will be responsible for leading the architectural design and planning process, overseeing projects from conception to completion, and providing technical expertise and guidance to the architectural team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of architectural principles, strong project management skills, and the ability to deliver innovative and functional designs.


Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and planning process for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, industrial and institutional buildings.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, goals, and budget constraints.
- Develop and present design concepts, plans, and sketches to clients for approval.
- Create detailed architectural drawings and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design team members.
- Ensure that architectural designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborates with teams of experts including managers, building service engineers, construction managers and quantity surveyors.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in architectural technology, and sustainable design practices.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- +8 years' experience
- Proven experience as an Architect, with a portfolio showcasing a range of successful projects.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
- Use of Revit Software, CSI and BOQ formats is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, and regulations.
- Knowledge of Fire and Life Safety is a plus.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with a team of designers and independently.
- Strong computer skills.
- Use of Microsoft office.
- Excellent verbal/ written communication and organizational skills.
- Strong command of English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and contractors.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Experience working in KSA would be an advantage.
Knowledge on KSA codes, specifications and design guidelines is a plus.
