Job Description
- The consulting firm is located in Qatar. The initial phase of the project will last 3-4 months, during which the candidate will need to be in Qatar for a few days every 4-6 weeks to provide project updates. The remainder of the project can be completed remotely.
- The position is for a project in Qatar tar for 3 to 4 months duration. The candidate doesn’t need to be in Qatar for the entire duration. The candidate has to be in person for a few days every 4 to 6 weeks.
- The CISO Consultant will provide expert advice and support in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies and frameworks tailored to the organization's needs. This role involves assessing current security protocols, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending advanced solutions to mitigate risks.
- The consultant will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities will also include creating comprehensive security policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring that security controls are effectively deployed.
- Additionally, the CISO Consultant will lead incident response efforts, deliver training on cybersecurity best practices, and promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
Job Requirements
- Should be CISO certified with at least 2 years’ experience in CISO consultancy.
- Should be an experienced and certified CISO, with previous experience in CISO and cybersecurity consultancy.
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2 years) in cybersecurity, with a focus on information security management and risk assessment.
- CISO or equivalent certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) is highly desirable.
- Expertise in developing and implementing robust information security frameworks and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards, and compliance issues relevant to the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess security risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in leading incident response teams and managing security incidents.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and influence at all levels of the organization.
