Job Description
- Carrying out technical site surveys to the client premises, collecting & gathering all the required information & documents.
- Assessment of the data received from the client and select the most suitable & efficient solutions & techniques to achieve their goals.
- Carrying out preliminary design for solar systems using specialized software (PVsyst, sketch up…etc.)
- Preparing project technical specifications & assure compliance to the applicable standards & codes.
- Revise the technical documents & drawings received from suppliers & Customers.
- Design & selection of all system components (solar panels, solar inverters, mounting structure, cables, low voltage distribution panels, …etc.)
- Preparing shop drawings & details required for construction (layouts, single line diagrams, Cable routing, earthing network…etc.) and support construction team during system commissioning & start-up.
- Handle all open issues with clients, consultants & suppliers.
- Provide support to other teams in the company (business development, construction, procurement…etc.).
- Design Protection Low Voltage Panels and control background.
- Design for PV Mounting Structure Systems.
- Select Suitable Pumps and Motors to the PV Systems
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Renewable Energy.
- 3- 5 years in experience in solar energy field.
- AutoCAD & Microsoft Office.
- Passionate about solar energy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability and proven experience to learn quickly and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent client and project management skills and attention to details.
- Strong coordination skills on the logistical and scheduling side.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
- The following competences will also be an advantage:
- Sap. Software
- Experience in PV energy
- Knowledge of renewable energy system design tools such as PVsyst, Sketchup
