Job Description

Manage the daily IFRS16, Lease Operations, Inventory, & Payroll, Manage the daily Non IFRS 16 Operating Leases Operations. Key SPOC from Finance to manage Vodafone Leases with internal & external stakeholders., Manage the Travel & Expense activities. Owner of the Accounts payable process. Local market spoc for Accounts payable queries.

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Prepare Month-end, Quarter & year-end closing processes including journal preparation, reconciliations, accounting analyses, various ad-hoc analyses, and month-end reporting schedules for IFRS16 leases & Operating leases, Inventory, & Payroll.
  • Initiate all new contracts & determine the accurate accounting treatment for new contracts, including revalidation of existing contracts data in Oracle ERP.
  • Comply with tax laws, relevant accounting principles & IFRS16 Standard, ICFR and Company policies.
  • Maintain standard controls and retention of audit evidence of the completed controls.
  • Maintain organized up to date Lease register, Initiate monthly cross validation sessions with internal, & external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the complete, accurate and timely accounting of all transactions relevant to payroll.
  • Design and maintain various reporting analysis & schedules and prepare the relevant postings to ensure the fair representation of all Inventory related events - BS and P&L.
  • Ensure the complete, accurate and timely accounting of all transactions relevant to Leases, IFRS16, & Operating leases
  • Design and maintain various Lease reporting analysis & schedules and prepare the relevant postings to ensure the fair representation of all IFRS16 Leases related accounts - BS and P&L
  • Own the Accounts Payable process, SPOC for all local market queries
  • Champion the GRIR maintenance procedures in accordance to the company policy
  • Own the Travel & Expense process, SPOC for all local market queries

  • Strong ERP Oracle Fusion experience
