Job Description
- Cost Accounting & Inventory Control
- Revise all posted vouchers on the DMS module & ensure correct accounts; posts and verifies balance, debit, and credit entries; reconciles costing accounts; maintains journals and ledgers; compiles internal control reports.
- Checking inventory on monthly basis at Distributors warehouses and reconciling results of actual physical count with printed reports to ensure conformity.
- Check inventory at production sites on quarterly basis for control.
- End month closing physical inventory control against records to identify & resolve discrepancies, if any.
- Clearing payments relating to RM/PM & Manufacturing
- Carry out the COGS reconciliation.
- MIS Reporting & Analysis
- Completing the submission of the MIS template on time.
- Accuracy in the MIS template.
- Detailed Analysis of the variances with the reasons of all the parameters in the MIS template
- Fixed Assists Management (CAPEX)
- Recording the cost of newly acquired fixed assets.
- Tracking existing fixed assets.
- Recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets.
- Preparation of Cost center wise Zero Base Budget as per the guidelines and Timelines specified.
- Phasing of WP expenses monthly.
- Uploading GL code wise & Cost center wise monthly.

- Knowledge of the GAAP/ Local Taxation and Investment Laws.
- Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting procedures.
- Good understanding of production process and manufacturing costs.
- Good understanding of inventory control & management.
