Job Description
- Oversee the purchasing department and are responsible for sourcing materials, contract management, budget control
- Manage all supplier contracts and assist to administer best pricing strategies budgets for all purchase materials
- Design and implement all material plans and manage inventory levels for all products
- Analyze all vendor performance to improve all purchasing process and ensure quality of goods and services purchased
- Plan, schedule, and ensure supply deliveries work with project schedules and compliance to all purchasing policies
- Evaluate vendors quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
- Manage, supervise, and directs purchasing functions such as product/service research, vendor selection, price and contracts terms negotiation, purchase order completion, etc.
- Draft bid specifications requested bid proposals from vendor for major purchases.
- Monitor budget allocation and expenditure.
Job Requirements
- BSc Degree of any relevant field
- Excellent in English language
- 10+ years of relevant experience (experience with Electric power stations is plus)
- Planning and analytical skills
- Communication skills
- Theoretical and practical knowledge and experience of IFI (especially EBRD, WB and/or ADB) procurement policies.
