Job Description

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals and product innovation initiatives.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure timely and cost-effective supply.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with product design, production, and logistics teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Analyze market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities to support product development and expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team to achieve departmental objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Resolve supply chain issues, manage risks, and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within manufacturing or consumer goods.
  • Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation and contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP or procurement management systems.
  • Solid understanding of sourcing, inventory management, and logistics processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
