We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with expertise in sourcing both foreign and local materials and managing supplies in pharmaceutical companies, including Research and development (R&D) requirements and Miscellaneous.

The role involves ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, chemicals, laboratory supplies, and miscellaneous while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will also develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), optimize supplier relationships, and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing:

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Drug Master File (DMF), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), European Medicines Agency (EMA), and others.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with various departments, including Quality Assurance, Production, Finance, and R&D teams, to understand material needs.
Manage supplier performance through regular assessments and audits.
Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Define and implement KPIs to track procurement efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Analyze market trends, pricing, and risk factors to optimize procurement strategies.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on procurement activities, savings, and risks.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

Develop and improve procurement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations.
Lead initiatives to streamline procurement processes and implement cost-reduction strategies.
