Job Description

  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g., warehouse-slotting, route planning).
  • Research potential vendors, Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
  • Oversee inventory procedures.
  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
  • Order the proper quantity, negotiate pricing and shipment terms and oversee the timely delivery of materials needed to fulfill customer orders.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as Supply chain specialist / Purchasing Officer or similar role
  • BSc of Commerce /Business Administration or related field.
  • MBA or marketing diploma is a plus.
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Very good negotiation skills and communication skills.
