Senior Security and Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Security and Network Engineer to join our team in the IT Services industry. This role will be responsible for protecting our systems and data from security threats and vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software security, risk assessment, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and compliance with security standards.
• Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
• Design, configure, and maintain secure network solutions (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.)
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network security tools
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex networking issues
• Implement and enforce network security policies and access controls.
• Optimize network performance and ensure high availability and redundancy.
• Lead incident response for network and security breaches.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and conduct regular audits.
• Collaborate with IT teams on network and security initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends.
• Monitor security systems and analyze security incidents to mitigate risks.
• Respond to security breaches and incidents, performing root cause analysis and remediation.
• Assist in developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and documentation.
