Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager - Industrial Focused

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Accounting Manager who will oversee the accounting department and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance within the manufacturing operations. This role involves managing a team of accountants, developing financial strategies, and ensuring the integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.

Team Management:

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs for team members.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage the annual budget, including operating and capital expenditures.
• Monitor budget variances and prepare forecasts to guide management decisions.

Cost Accounting:

• Oversee the cost accounting function, ensuring accurate product costing and analysis.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Internal Controls:

• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in accounting.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments, such as operations, purchasing, and finance, to support overall business objectives.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
