Job Description

  • Issue the preventive, periodic, and overall maintenance plans for all the equipment’s, tools, and machines in the plant to guarantee the performance according to the supplier’s instructions.
  • Review the report issued by the maintenance shift engineer, in case of postponed troubleshooting or troubleshooting that aren’t solved in an appropriate way, write recommendations with the corrective actions and follow-up the implementation to maintain the appropriate maintenance actions.
  • Issue the training needs analysis (or on job training) to improve the maintenance crew performance, follow-up the implementation and assess the effectiveness of the training, and follow-up the health and safety instructions.
  • Determine the needed spare parts for all equipment, tools, and machines, check their availability in the warehouses in case they aren’t available issue the PR and send it to the procurement department to be available when needed.
  • Inspect all the spare parts supplied to the plant to be according to the specifications of the PR.
  • Follow-up the repetitive troubleshooting, modify the design to decrease the spare part consumption and to decrease the fixing time.
  • Along with the duties and responsibilities already mentioned he will be resbonsible of facilities like making annual budget for the Utilities and facilities,
  • Total building Maintenance (roofing, side cladding, Flooring, Drainage, plumbing, security cabin ,Maintaining the site and building with proper space planning, corrosion prevention, Energy management etc.
  • Follow-up the run of the industrial services to work in the most efficient way and manage the mechanical workshop to fabricate and repair some spare parts or needed tools and perform service request for all the plant departments.
  • Follow-up the machines, equipment and tools in the daily log and records that are reviewed by the mechanical engineers or supervisors to know the daily status of the machines, equipment and tools to update the periodic maintenance plan.
  • Responsible for spare parts of the mechanical section.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering, Major Mechanics.
  • Auto-Cad program
  • MS Office
  • Creativity and analytical skills in Engineering.
  • 10 years' Experience.
  • Excellent command of English
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
  • Technical writing skills
