Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong knowledge of Saudi tax laws, including Zakat and VAT, and the ability to manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
Job Requirements
Supervise and manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Ensure full compliance with Saudi Zakat and Tax Authority regulations, including timely and accurate filings.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and government entities as needed.
Lead, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff to enhance team performance and efficiency.
Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning strategies.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong understanding of Zakat, VAT, and other Saudi tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
