Job Description

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and company objectives.
  • Coordinate with design, sales, and supply chain teams to forecast production needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
  • Supervise and lead the production team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards throughout the production process to ensure that all products meet specifications.
  • Implement quality assurance protocols and conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze production processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to adopt new technologies and methodologies.
  • Manage the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize production efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production facility.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety among team members.
  • Assist in developing the production budget and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to financial targets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including output, efficiency, quality metrics, and any issues encountered.
  • Communicate effectively with upper management regarding production progress and challenges.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and ensure that production aligns with customer expectations.
  • Address any customer concerns related to product quality or delivery timelines promptly.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, Mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 12 to 15 years of experience, 3 out of them as a production Manager.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
