Job Description
- Carry out duties in accordance with Business Management System process requirements.
- Compile and facilitate / chair project Risk Assessment activities.
- Assist Project managers to monitor and review project risks throughout the life of project.
- Monthly Health, Safety and Environmental performance analysis and reporting in line with project, department, company and Client requirements.
- Develop, implement and verify completion of QHSE plan activities.
- Timely preparation of project documentation.
- Liaise with and monitor subcontractors / suppliers in conjunction with Quality Assurance team.
- Work in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Team to provide support and assistance as necessary on Company and project QA and QC matters.
- Monitor project documentation control.
- QA / QC Focal point for Projects.
- Carry out internal vessel verification audits.
- Provide QA / QC support to Vessel Dive System Management.
- Lead Auditor for Supplier and Subcontractor Site visit requirements.
- Internal Auditor for BMS Compliance.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports and Process Improvement Notes.
- Assist departments in identifying corrective and preventative actions when looking at continual improvements.
- Carry out safety critical / non-conformance investigation and where necessary provide the lead.
- Encourage and promote quality awareness throughout all areas of the organization.
- Liaise with offshore departmental representatives to develop and implement improvement plans in line with project, departmental and company objectives.
- Regular communications with offshore departmental representatives throughout project planning and execution.
- In liaison with offshore departmental representatives, attend all project vessel mobilization / demobilizations to monitor and observe project activities, provide QHSE feedback to project and marine teams.
- Delivery of statutory Health & Safety training to the company.
- Liaise with offshore departmental representatives, offshore personnel and subcontractors to investigate all undesired events and monitor corrective and / or preventative actions are appropriately addressed and closed out.
- Feedback to vessels / assets /company on Health, Safety and Environment matters, and sharing of lessons learned and best practice.
- Champion for and where necessary provide instruction and information on adequate software and the BMS.
- Promote the Back to Basics (B2B) safety initiative programme (and any other that might be implemented) and assist to embed into daily operations and activities.
- Member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Ensure an up to date knowledge and understanding of the requirements of legislative, marine and IMCA standards and requirements.
- Communicate and embed PSSMS and Group Core values into daily operations and activities.
- Assist in tender submission documentation.
- When necessary, provide offshore cover for offshore departmental representatives.
- Develop Occupational Health and Safety Programs in line with legislative requirements and industry best practice.
- Support the QHSE function as deemed necessary.
Job Requirements
- A relevant HSE qualification to NEBOSH certificate level and be working towards diploma level or equivalent.
- Quality Management Knowledge & training or minimum of 2 years in Quality Assurance Position.
- Internal Auditor Training.
- Relevant experience of providing SHEQ advice in a dynamic project / company environment.
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems i.e. ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of offshore and / or marine operations.
- Knowledge of offshore Survey and ROV operations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work using own initiative or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to effectively manage own workload, and work within given timescales (both internal and external), ensuring project requirements are met.
- Adaptability and problem-solving capability.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and proficiency with computers is required.
- Excellent English language.
- BOSIET certificate (If applicable).
