Job Description
- Carry out monthly P&L reviews to ensure there is an action plan developed to address any issues and that the action plan is followed up.
- Receive monthly report of supplies and usage and apply measures to optimize cost.
- Monitor sections performance on utility cost, ensuring that the store follow the right procedures to save cost.
- Ensure that the food safety policy is being fully implemented in all areas of the section.
- Ensure the sections cleaning plan is being implemented and that there is a high standard of hygiene across all areas in the Store.
- Receive reports (sales, NIS, availability…etc.) monitor staff performance in dealing with issues and help them solve it by taking it to a higher level if needed.
- Provide annual performance rating for his direct reports.
- Plan together with the team and come up with action plans to improve the performance of the section from all angles. (Sales, Store standards, Store KPIs)
- Perform Planograms spot checks on a regular basis and take corrective action.
- Implement operating standards and orders products and ensure processes are followed to achieve maximum sales.
- Following up on achievement of budgeted sales and take action accordingly
- Check item movement and order items to maintain minimum stock level
- Report to Operations Support team any issues regarding unavailability of stock
- Follow up with suppliers on the delivery items and with the inventory controller for warehouse items.
- Monitor damaged items returns and dumping on daily basis.
- Perform monthly partial inventory count within the section
- Maintain the stock level according to sales to avoid overstock
- Supporting all the team in dealing with customer complaints and suggestions in resolving issues.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail
- 6 years of management experience in-store operations
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any relevant
- Good English
- Strong leadership skills
- Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels.
