Fire System Engineer

Job Description
Main Responsibilities:

Fire System Maintenance:
Perform regular maintenance for detection and firefighting systems.
Ensure all fire-related devices are functioning efficiently and meet required safety standards.
Update and modify systems as needed to meet the standard's requirements.
Inspect fire extinguishers to ensure their readiness for use in emergencies.
Repair or replace damaged parts in fire extinguishers.
Ensure fire extinguishers contain the correct amount of materials (e.g., powder, CO2, water) and are in operational condition.
Refill fire extinguishers according to the manufacturer's recommendations

Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on the condition of fire systems and fire extinguishers, documenting all maintenance and repair work.
Track the timely completion of scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.

Coordination with Other Teams:
Coordinate with safety and security teams to ensure full compliance with fire safety requirements.
Collaborate with engineering teams and contractors for updates or installation of new systems.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics or Mechanical Engineering.
Fresh graduate or maximum 2 years experience
The applicant must be a resident of Alexandria.
The applicant must have completed military service or be exempted
Knowledge of fire protection systems, fire extinguishers, and alarm systems.
Ability to read engineering drawings for fire systems.
AutoCAD
Microsoft Office

Required Skills:
Ability to inspect equipment and diagnose faults
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to schedules.
Ability to use maintenance tools and modern fire protection technologies.

Work Environment:
Work in an industrial or commercial environment, including field sites for buildings and facilities.
The job may require travel between different sites to perform maintenance and inspections.
