Job Description

Quality Inspections: Conducting inspections on products and processes at different stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Testing and Analysis: Conducting and monitoring tests and analyses on materials, components, and final products to verify quality and performance, and performing statistical analysis on test results, mainly concrete cube results.

Quality Documentation: Preparing and maintaining detailed records of inspections, tests, quality issues, including reports, corrective action plans, and maintaining quality records as specified by relevant inspection plans and contract documents. Ensuring that all original copies of records are delivered to the document and data manager.

Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Coordination: Coordinating with the technical office engineers according to what has been implemented on the ground to finalize maintenance drawings for delivery to the owner.

Problem Solving: Investigating and resolving quality-related issues and discrepancies, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to address root causes.

Training and Support: Providing training and support to production employees on quality control procedures and best practices.

Supplier Quality Management: Evaluating and monitoring the quality of materials and components from suppliers, working with them to resolve quality issues. Monitoring the storage area and taking necessary actions to prevent damage.

Reviews and Audits: Conducting internal reviews and participating in external audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and standards, monitoring non-conforming products, and following up on actions to close non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Supervision: Managing and distributing tasks among the team and coordinating with other departments to achieve the best possible performance while maintaining quality.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Structural Engineer or similar field
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
  • Good communication ability (both written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail
  • Degree in Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus
  • Member of the Institute of Structural Engineering
