Job Description
Document Management:
- Maintain, organize, and control all cost-related documents (invoices, contracts, purchase orders, change orders, BOQs, etc.).
- Ensure proper version control, filing, and retrieval of documents (hard & soft copies).
- Manage the document workflow between departments (estimation, procurement, finance, and project teams).
Cost Control Support:
- Assist the Cost Control team in tracking project budgets, expenditures, and financial reports.
- Update and maintain cost databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Prepare and distribute cost reports, dashboards, and summaries as required.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all documents comply with company policies, ISO standards, and contractual requirements.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and records.
- Generate ad-hoc reports for management review.
Coordination & Communication:
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors for document submissions and approvals.
- Follow up on pending approvals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and PDF editing tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years as a Document Controller in construction companies (mandatory).
- Knowledge of construction documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good in English (written & spoken).
