Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Academic & Career Counselor with 7–10 years of relevant experience to lead the delivery of professional academic and career counseling services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based guidance, developing assessment methodologies, supporting career benchmarking, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Twindix’s consulting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct professional academic and career counseling sessions for students, graduates, job seekers, and professionals.
Evaluate clients’ academic backgrounds, interests, skills, competencies, and career aspirations.
Guide students in selecting suitable university majors, specialisations, and educational pathways.
Support graduates and professionals in identifying suitable career paths and job opportunities.
Analyse job descriptions and professional requirements to develop relevant career recommendations.
Contribute to the development of Twindix’s academic and career assessment frameworks.
Develop and improve professional benchmarks for matching individual capabilities with specific job requirements.
Prepare structured counseling reports and personalised career development plans.
Establish counseling quality standards and mentor junior counselors.
Collaborate with management and the technology team to enhance Twindix’s digital consulting services.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Career Counseling, Educational Psychology, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
7–10 years of relevant professional experience in academic advising, career counseling, career coaching, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of academic pathways, university specialisations, career planning, and professional development.
Demonstrated experience in structured counseling, assessment, and professional report writing.
Strong understanding of competency frameworks, job descriptions, and employment requirements.
Excellent communication, listening, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent Arabic and very good English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in digital productivity and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification in career counseling or career coaching.
Experience with psychometric assessments or competency-based evaluations.
Background in HR consulting, recruitment, talent management, or organisational development.
Experience developing assessment methodologies or career guidance programmes.
Experience working with digital counseling or educational technology platforms.
