Job Description
Import/ Export coordinator for freight forwarding company.
- Facilitate the shipping of products from the plant to Customers
- Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
- Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
- Receives products from Warehouse and coordinates delivery
- Coordinate with freight forwarders/ shipping lines/Clearing agency to avoid any delays and reduce conflicts .
- Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
- Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles
- Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
Job Requirements
- Must have experience within specified field mentioned
- Good communication and language skills
- Hard worker, efficient and able to work as a team.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word
