Job Description
We are looking for a versatile IP Network Engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong IP networking expertise and will be responsible for designing, presenting, and supporting network solutions including but not limited to IP-based network solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with IP/MPLS networks, routing protocols, and a solid understanding of customer requirements in both enterprise and service provider environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with sales and account teams to gather technical requirements and translate them into IP network solutions.
• Design end-to-end IP network architectures covering:
• Core and edge routing/switching
• IPv4/IPv6 planning and implementation
• MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and other routing protocols
• VPN (IPSec, SSL) and remote access solutions
• Quality of Service (QoS), multicast, and traffic engineering
• Network security (firewalls, segmentation, DDoS protection)
• Prepare technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, BoQs, and SoWs.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed and competitive technical responses.
• Deliver client-facing presentations, solution demos, and technical workshops.
• Interface with OEMs and vendors to stay current with the latest technologies and product offerings.
• Develop high-level and detailed network architecture proposals and technical documentation (BoM, SoW, diagrams).
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a presales or solutions design capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of IP networking protocols and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Huawei, or Fortinet.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, HCSA,HSCP,HCIP or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience with SDN, NFV, and cloud networking technologies is a plus.
• Understanding of Layer 2/3 technologies and carrier-grade networking.
• Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
