Job Description

1.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives for expansion .

Collaborate with senior leadership to establish supply chain policies, procedures, and performance metrics.

2.Logistics Management:  Oversee the entire logistics function, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

Evaluate and optimize transportation routes, carrier performance, and distribution networks.
3. International Operations: Manage and coordinate import/export activities, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations. 

Collaborate with overseas partners and vendors to establish efficient supply chain processes.

4. Vendor and Supplier Management:  Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating terms and agreements to ensure the reliability of the supply chain. 

Monitor and assess supplier performance, addressing any issues to maintain high-quality standards.

5. Inventory Management: Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete stock while ensuring product availability. 

Utilize technology and systems to enhance visibility and accuracy in inventory management.

6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.

Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions that may impact the supply chain.

7. Team Leadership and Development:  Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

 Provide ongoing training and development to enhance the skills and capabilities of the supply chain team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree  supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in a senior-level supply chain or logistics management role, preferably in a Automotive Industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performance teams.
