Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Office Manager – Infrastructure to join our leading infrastructure and roads contracting company. The selected candidate will oversee the full spectrum of technical office operations related to infrastructure works for a prestigious resort project in the North Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all technical office activities related to infrastructure works:
- Water networks
- Sewage and storm water drainage
- Electrical networks (MV/LV/ELV)
- Telecom and fiber optics
- Roads work
- Supervise and lead a team of technical office engineers, planning & scheduling engineers, and document controllers.
- Coordinate with the consultant and owner through the Aconex platform for all technical submissions, approvals, RFIs, and correspondence.
- Prepare and review:
- Shop drawings, as-built drawings, material submittals, method statements.
- Monthly interim payment certificates (company's invoices to the owner).
- Subcontractors’ payment certificates.
- Variation Orders (VOs) and claims.
- Ensure timely delivery of technical documentation, compliance with project specifications, and alignment with planning schedules.
- Attend coordination meetings with the consultant, client, and internal teams
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a similar position.
- Proven experience in infrastructure and road works on large-scale residential or touristic developments.
- Solid experience dealing with high-profile real estate developers in Egypt.
- Prior experience working on North Coast projects is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in dealing with Aconex is a MUST.
- Excellent knowledge of Egyptian codes, infrastructure design, and construction practices.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
