Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain document control processes and procedures for construction projects.
- Manage the receipt, distribution, and tracking of all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
- Ensure all documents are accurately filed, archived, and easily retrievable in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
- Monitor document revisions and maintain up-to-date records of all changes and approvals.
- Conduct regular audits to verify document integrity, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Train and support project staff on document control systems and best practices.
- Prepare and distribute document control reports to project stakeholders and management.
- Liaise with external parties, such as consultants and clients, to facilitate document exchange and approvals.
- Support the implementation of digital document management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in document control within the construction industry.
- Proven expertise in managing large volumes of technical and contractual documentation.
- Strong understanding of document control standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with digital document management systems is highly desirable.
