Job Description
- Meet with leadership team periodically to review forecast performance, metrics, strategies, & progress.
- Respond to questions from the Leadership team regarding forecast exceptions and demand planning performance.
- Develop deep demand planning skills and industry, business, & supply chain acumen in his/her domain.
- Define, standardize, implement, scale, and continuously improve best practice demand planning business processes across the organization.
- Define, implement, and monitor demand planning key performance indicators and performance metrics.
- Gather input from Leadership Team members to improve system functionality and demand planning processes.
- Use metric analysis of forecast to improve forecast accuracy.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve statistical models in the forecasting software.
- Present consolidated tactical demand plans to leadership teams.
- Provide statistical analysis of strategic demand plans, including what-if scenario modeling and decision support of different demand plan options.
- Facilitate consensus on strategic demand plans.
- Follow up with leadership team members on issues and facilitate resolution.
- Report forecast performance and demand planning improvement opportunities to FBU Leadership.
- Responsibilities according to RACI matrix currently adopted in FINE Egypt.
- Regular communication with Supply Chain Manager & Planning Manager (Direct Manager)
- Continuous internal communication with the purchasing, Finance, Production, Warehouse, Sales, Marketing and Administration departments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in industrial or FMCG background.
- Excellent Computer skills.
- ERP experience is a plus.
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
