What will you be doing?

 

Develop, implement, and manage production processes and workflows to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.

Monitor production output to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement quality control measures and address any deviations or issues.

Optimize production processes to minimize waste and reduce production costs while maintaining quality standards.

Oversee maintenance schedules and procedures for production equipment to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to create a safe working environment for employees and minimize workplace accidents.

Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize processes.

Work closely with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, and supply chain to coordinate production activities and achieve overall business objectives.

Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation related to processes, quality control, maintenance, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for dry and frozen goods in alignment with company objectives and budgetary constraints.

2. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors for dry and frozen goods, ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing practices.

3. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.

4. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to anticipate changes and mitigate risks.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Planning, Production, and Warehouse to streamline procurement processes and optimize inventory levels.

6. Conduct regular supplier assessments, performance reviews, and audits to ensure adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards.

7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability efforts.

8. Resolve supplier issues, disputes, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.

9. Prepare and present reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management on procurement performance, savings achieved, and potential areas for improvement.

10. Stay updated on relevant regulations, market dynamics, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement within FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier relationships.
  •  Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  •  Strong Interpersonal skills -  communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP system, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality standards, and sustainability practices related to food procurement is preferred.
