• Presenting properties in a positive light to prospective tenants
• lease retail space in compliance with the approved leasing plan and budget – while working with the approved leasing policy
• Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals
• Stay knowledgeable of the property market status
• Participates in developing the merchandising mix and preparing the optimum placement of different activities in the shopping center layout.
• Maintains a database for potential and targeted retailers for the manager’s review.
• Contacts potential clients to present available spaces in the shopping center, create their interests, explain financial and operational terms, and negotiate these terms with interested retailers.
• Communicates tenants’ technical/engineering comments to Tenants Coordination Dept. for review and response.
• Coordinates the preparation of leasing documents in accordance with the agreed terms.
• Responsible for all aspects of the lease transaction until the closure of the deal (legal, credit approval, funding, documentation…etc.)
• Reports to his/her manager on the progress and achievements, and refers to any problems to him for action/advice.
