Job Description
- Develop strategies, policies, and action plans for the Central Microfinance Sector in alignment with the organization’s overall vision and objectives.
- Oversee the development of microfinance methodologies, credit policies and procedures, and evaluation frameworks for intermediary institutions, while fostering financial inclusion and driving digital transformation.
- Introduce innovative initiatives and design new financial products based on market needs, supporting national initiatives and sectoral as well as geographical expansion.
- Lead the achievement of sectoral performance targets in coordination with branch offices, within available resources.
- Monitor and address financing gaps by coordinating with the International Cooperation and Financial Affairs sectors, securing funding from donor agencies, and ensuring compliance with donor agreements.
- Expand and strengthen partnerships with intermediary institutions (NGOs, banks, and companies) to reach the maximum number of end clients, thereby enhancing the organization’s share in the national microfinance market.
- Supervise the monitoring of intermediaries in line with established schedules, reduce delinquency rates, ensure collection of outstanding dues, and implement corrective measures as necessary to meet strategic and operational objectives.
- Oversee institutional development and capacity-building initiatives to strengthen the performance of the Central Microfinance Sector across headquarters, branches, and intermediary partners.
- Collaborate with the Egyptian Microfinance Federation to provide information, guidance, and services that support the nationwide expansion of microfinance.
Job Requirements
- A suitable bachelor's degree is required.
