Job Description
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients Technical Pre-Sales Sr. Engineer.
Job Accountabilities:
• Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team, responding to inquiries and explaining product details to clients.
• Assess customer requirements, propose suitable technical solutions, and recommend product configurations
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations that address client needs.
• Showcase the technical features and benefits of products to prospective customers
• Assist the sales team in developing customized proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and solution descriptions based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Meeting with clients to gather technical requirements and clarify their challenges, ensuring an in-depth understanding of their needs.
• Provide feedback to the product development team to improve product offerings based on client feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings to ensure up-to-date product knowledge.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge and remain informed about product updates and innovations
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Certifications in pre-sales or technical sales are an advantage.
Experience:
4-6 years of experience in technical pre-sales or a similar role.
Competences and Skills:
• Technical Skills:
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex technical systems and equipment.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms (CRM, ERP, etc.).
- Knowledge of product life cycle and sales cycle.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
• Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time, office-based role with occasional travel to client locations.
• Flexible work hours may be required depending on client needs and sales cycles.
• Collaborative team environment, often interacting with various departments and customers
