Our client is in search of a Laboratory Technician – Offshore to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or B.S. in Chemistry alongside a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Production Chemistry Laboratory with a valid H2S certificate, valid T-BOSIET, and a valid Medical Fitness Certificate.Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine safety inspections and promptly address any issues. Ensure compliance with Quality Management System requirements and participate in audits as necessary.Demonstrate competence and technical proficiency in laboratory services.Adhere to Oil & Gas laboratory safety protocols.Communicate effectively in spoken and written English; knowledge of Arabic is desirable.Age requirement: 25-45 years old.Collect representative samples (gas, condensate, NGL, water, crude oil, drilling fluids, cement) from field locations.Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory and onsite analyses using standard methods and procedures.Implement quality control programs to maintain accuracy and reliability of analytical results.Maintain records related to sampling, analysis, and instrument maintenance.Prepare standard solutions and reagents for analysis.Operate laboratory instruments for sample analysis.Process and document analytical results promptly for reporting.Coordinate with Laboratory In-charge to ensure timely availability of necessary materials and consumables. Key Qualifications & Skills:Minimum Diploma or B.S. in Chemistry.Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Production Chemistry Laboratory.Valid H2S certificate, valid T-BOSIET, and a valid Medical Fitness Certificate.Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and equipment.
