Job Description
- An Executive Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks and support the company’s VC.
- Executive Assistant’s responsibilities include managing calendars, making travel arrangements, and preparing expense reports.
- Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
- Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the manager/executive.
- Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines.
- Process and distribute daily mail.
- Assists board members with travel arrangements, lodging, and meal planning as needed.
- Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Director.
- Assist Director in researching and following up with action on matters which fall within the Director’s responsibility – chasing responses, triggering follow-up action.
- Provide "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, providing a bridge for smooth communication between the VC and staff.
- Provide hospitality to all guests and help to create a welcoming environment.
