Job Description
We are an art gallery based in Giza and are looking for an experienced business development Specialist to help plan and implement a comprehensive branding, marketing, and sales plan for us in the medium and long-term.
- Oversee the planning and day-to-day operations of the gallery
- Strategize and implement a comprehensive business plan
- Help organize a comprehensive sales portfolio
- Plan and coordinate art exhibitions
- Liaison with artists and various stakeholders related to our business operations
- Design and help implement a comprehensive sales strategy for various artwork
- Reach out to potential corporate clients (e.g. interior design houses, hotels, etc.) who may acquire artwork
- Help with organizing various events of cultural and artistic relevance that can build our profile as an art and cultural destination on Cairo's art scene
- Help implement a social media branding and advertising campaign
- Identify strengths and weaknesses and potential opportunities for growth and expansion
Job Requirements
Ideally, Candidate Should:
- Have an academic background in Fine Arts and/or Business Administration or closely related fields; this is not mandatory but is highly preferred
- Previous experience in art gallery management or very similar fields (e.g. luxury retail, high-end interior design etc)
- Extensive knowledge of the Egyptian and regional art scene
- Adequate knowledge of Arabic and English, written and spoken, is of course, a must
- Be presentable and able to interact with potential buyers, clients, and artists of a certain caliber
- Have a hands-on approach, able to multi-task and manage time and resources effectively
