Job Description
- Lead and manage the logistics team to ensure operational efficiency and performance.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor outbound logistics operations including transportation management for inland and export operations.
- Oversee and improve logistics processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports (e.g., KPIs, transport costs, delivery schedules).
- Develop and maintain relationships with logistics service providers and vendors.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate logistics staff; ensure development of team capabilities.
- Handle logistics-related problem-solving and crisis management.
Job Requirements
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of logistics systems and software (e.g., WMS, TMS, SAP, ERP systems).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting).
- Understanding of transportation regulations, import/export procedures, and incoterms.
- Experience in route optimization and freight cost analysis.
