Job Description
Duties:
Leadership responsibility for managing the construction supervision department of the firm.
Responsibility for planning, direction, control, operations, scheduling and staffing of multiple large teams for all construction supervision projects that the firm is undertaking. Provides leadership and planning in support of the long range plans and goals for the firm. Responsible for prestigious large, complex domestic and international projects/clients. Demonstrates the ability to establish and implement firm policy.
Responsible for maintaining the highest quality of the construction supervision services that the firm is providing in all construction supervision projects. Responsible for communication with Clients as well as represent the firm in strategic meetings with the Clients. Assists in preparing project proposals. Responsible for the proper and adequate staffing of all projects in accordance with the contracts. Responsible for monitoring the staffing of all the construction supervision projects. Prepares/presents periodical monthly staffing/quality reports to the firm’s management. Undertakes the performance evaluation of the supervision staff. Responsible for project profitability.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Engineering degree with a minimum of 25 years in the field of construction supervision. Previous extensive experience in managing large scale and complex construction supervision projects. Experience on all phases and aspects of the construction supervision of multiple, large and complex projects. Strong and proven knowledge of construction supervision duties and responsibilities. Strong knowledge of FIDIC, claim determination and managing construction contracts. Strong spreadsheet and word processing skills. Good knowledge of project planning using Primavera.
Excellent communication skills. Strong problem solving capabilities. Excellent command of English language (Written & Spoken).
Professional registration required.
