Job Description

  •  Supervise HSE senior Supervisors, HSE supervisors and representatives to ensure the effective implementation of OCI’s HSE plan.
  •  Lead the team of HSE in project to to excute the accident prevention, fire protection, first aid, and other safety policies within the site.
  •  Analyse, report and investigate all all accidents and incidents and issue preliminary reports to be presented to the management.
  •  Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly HSE reports including analysing accident statistics to be presented to the management.
  •  Develop and maintain the possible methods used to protect the project against the HSE hazards using  his technical expertise, historical data and other reliable sources.
  •  Act as an advisor to project employees or Managers on any needed safety information as required.
  •  Monitors the action plan with the team to ensure protection of property, equipment, supplies and material to be used at work sites according to OCI’s HSE policies and procedures.
  •  Supervise the day to day HSE activities and safety controls required to ensure protection of the life and health of employees and subcontractors
  •  Responsible of Conducting the weekly ‘Tool Box’ meeting as planned with the HSE training unit.
  •  Provide functional supervision over all (line) reports within the Unit in performing their assigned  tasks.
  •  Oversee the implementation of the policies and procedures applicable to the Section in the assigned project.
  •  Ensure that work procedures for various activities within the Unit are documented and followed.
  •  Provide input to the Section Manager on the performance of (line) reports.
  •  Ensure that all (line) reports have access to the right software and hardware to ensure that their tasks and activities are performed efficiently and cost effectively (in coordination with the IT Division).
  •  He has the right/authorities to stop the work, and take the necessary action in case if he found unsafe act/ condition 
  •  Perform other duties as requested.

Job Requirements

  • BSc degree in engineering or science
  • from 8 to 12 years of proven years of experience in construction field with at least 2 years at managerial level
  •  related trainings and courses (nebosh igc, ISO 45K, fire marshal, first aid, risk assessment,.....)
