Job Description
- Design (Sheet metal) Molds.
- Design Equipment for Production Process.
- Design Materials tables for Molds and Equipment.
- Draw Details for Molds and Equipment.
- Responsible for designing engineering changes on existing molds
- Support customer’s needs in design and engineering
- Maintain a high level of mold design standards
- Creating 2D mold layout assembly drawings and bill of materials
- Generating 3D electrodes, along with 2D detail drawings and burn sheets for EDM
- Ordering mold bases and standard components
- Carrying out quality assurance tests on new designs
- Developing prototypes and testing new designs
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design and Production engineering.
- Knowledge of Wire EDM and/or CNC machining technologies.
- CAD/CAM expert and Very Proficient 3D Solid Works mold design package or others ( CATIA, NX , …etc.).
- Work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under stress.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Good in English Spoken and written
- Experience in the design and manufacture of molds.
- Proficient in the use of engineering design software
- Have a background in the operation of CNC machines.
