Job Description
- Sell a variety of chemicals to be used in different industries.
- Capable of achieving high value orders.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandizing techniques and consolidate them into business information useful to convert it into revenue.
- Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Develop and grow the commercial relationships of assigned leading industrial customers while prospecting for new accounts to increase market penetration.
- Forecast sales to enable operations planning, introduce product innovations and maintain active memberships.
- To follow up with the client for execution of the order till the payment is collected.
- Attend bidding and final negotiations with customers. Review Technical Proposal/Checklist, Commercial Proposal/Checklist.
- To identify new customers for existing/new products and develop plans to support the growth of existing customers.
- To bring the new business by targeting new market segments
- Initiate & identify current and future customer needs and convert them to revenue.
- Analyzing marketing trends and tracking competitor's activities and providing valuable inputs for the prospect supply of new line of business.
Job Requirements
- Travel throughout the country
- Working hours: a highly flexible work schedule.
- Good Verbal and written Communication Skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English language-extra language is a plus
- Able to communicate with overseas principal via telephone and emails.
- Good Knowledge of Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.
- Experience and good knowledge of RO and activated carbon usage.
- Chemistry science graduate (Or) Chemical Engineer.
- Preferable MBA (Marketing).
- A valid driver’s license. - If Applicable
- Minimum 3 year of experience in Sales for Chemicals in Oil & Gas Industry. Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
- A professional appearance.
