- The E-commerce Content Specialist is a vital role and requires an individual who is motivated, has great organizational skills, and SEO / e-commerce content experience. This role is responsible for leading the creation and execution of our digital product pages on our Macknmall.com site, and maintaining that experience long-term. This person will manage and own the content for one of our brands.
- Additionally, this person will be responsible for contributing to and executing the SEO strategy defined by the E-commerce Content and SEO Associate Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Bring an informed understanding of the overall retail and brand digital strategy to the day-to-day processes and executions to identify the opportunity for content improvement; driving to class-leading content experiences in service of drive branding and conversion
- Coordinate with internal brand, creative, digital, legal, product, and sales teams to develop best-in-class content and creative assets that convert.
- Be accountable to ensure digital e-commerce and retail partner best practice guidelines and standards are met, and approvals obtained, for marketing content and assets.
- Upload online content to our retail portal by product, ensure 100% perfect execution of our brand, category and product pages on our site (macknmall.com)
- Conduct regular audits to ensure existing brand, category and product pages maintain accuracy. Create optimization plans to increase product ranking and manage through resolution
- Work in partnership with our UX and development team to own and execute e-commerce content on our site
- Own execution of SEO strategy for macknmall.com
Job Requirements
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of relevant work experience, including web content management, web project management and content optimization with retail partners
- 1+ year of SEO experience with a beginners understanding of how search engine crawlers and websites work, and SEO principles
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to focus on task completion.
- Strong project management skills
- Must be organized and adept at handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
- Working knowledge of retailer content portals and CMS systems
- Having an entrepreneurial spirit and mindset – a “make it happen” way of thinking
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive: able to note things that need to be done without being prompted
