Job Description
Assist in setting the product acquisition plan with the primary objective of assisting in growing and managing the consumer business’ total product portfolio and end-to-end product acquisitions workflow (acquiring customers – clients on boarding).
- Assist in
- Formulating the strategy and establishing the strategic baseline.
- Configuring product SWOT and determining the customer life cycle state.
- Identifying opportunities, integrate product roadmap, and aligning cross-functional teams.
- Responsible for:
- Developing on-going market insight and segmenting markets.
- Defining target clients, assessing their needs and creating personas.
- Identifying sector trends.
- Evaluating competitors and offerings, and comparing competitive products.
- New product planning and introduction:
- Assist in prioritize opportunities and produce an opportunity statement.
- Participate in shaping the value proposition, assess competitive positioning and build prototypes.
- Assist in developing business case and forecasts, identify the product requirements and market mix model, establish future metrics, align operation and activate marketing plan.
- Responsible for systems enhancements and vendor product awareness.
- Responsible for the preparation of business proposition and documentation.
- Productivity review and acquisition management; assist in:
- Developing market insight, conducting post-launch audits, and evaluating KPIs and metrics.
- Analyzing product productivity performance and improving and adjusting marketing and promotional plans.
- Assessing vendors’ performance and monitoring the client life-cycle.
- Perform initial analysis to asses any requested changes and the potential impact of those changes, and implement all approved changes in a timely manner.
- Provide updates on product/service/target market activity and productivity.
- Work with the Product Portfolio team to provide market insights and recommendations on both new and existing products and price positioning recommendations through monitoring the market and competitor activates.
- Assist in increasing the product knowledge of vendors (including key product differentials versus competition).
- Prepare and develop presentation and delivery of products and product bundles through physical and digital channels – compelling and differentiated point of sales – ‘easy to buy’, ‘easy to use’.
- Deploy pricing and pricing amendments through the firm’s promotional and communication material.
- Monitor third party product relationships, as needed.
- Leverage internal and external data sources to improve the department’s perception of product markets, competitors’ activities, and consumers to make better fact-based decisions to direct product marketing management activities.
- Apply research sources, tools, and methods to support product marketing management intelligence.
- Understand credit risk drivers and criteria.
- Track the approval rates and periodically validate rejection reasons.
- Ensure compliance with the firm’s policies and procedures and good market practice.
Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration.
- Analyst: 0 -2 years experience
- Experience in customer-centric industries (services/products).
