Job Description
Reports to: CEO
Purpose:
Plan and drive stores retail operations so as to ensure maximum sales, maximum profitability, optimum stocking, increase in customer satisfaction and continuous business growth. Maintain the desired visual merchandising, retail operations, customer experience, replenishment, recovery standards in all aspects. Sponsor and coach the team and drive continuous improvements.
Accountability:
- Prepare and participate in the preparation of sales budget and forecast to serve as an influencing factor in the business plan.
- Set strategies of the retail chain that would enable us to maximize sales profitability and maximize retail productivity.
- Analyze market opportunities to define internal and external growth opportunities.
- Develop, set inventory management practices to ensure effective inventory and warehouse management for the operations(order management, stock consolidation, movement and transfer, optimum stock utilization and stock return)
- Strategize and seek expansion opportunity; manage and roll out new projects and time-bound implementation.
- Understand market dynamics (demographics, consumer behavior,…etc) and conduct periodical research for potential properties.
- Prepare retail operating plan (new store, seasonal and current stores) and ensure alignment with the company operating budget.
- Ensure all stores are in compliance with operations standards and customer service standards through the set and ensure implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all stores portray company image and identity by the implementation of marketing communication activities.
- Ensure all stores sales, promotions and activities and properly planned, executed and promptly maintained professionally.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- Sales Management Certificate is preferable
- Min 10 yrs experience with relevant concept.
- Very Good command of English language spoken and written.
- Computer literacy,
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
- Excellent organization skills and well disciplined.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
