Job Description
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate security strategy to safeguard the organization's assets and operations.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring consistency and adherence across the organization.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats, technologies, and industry trends, and make recommendations for the adoption of new security measures or technologies.
- ensure that these policies are up-to-date and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external security agencies, law enforcement, and emergency services to facilitate effective incident response.
- Manage and supervise a team of security personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security systems, such as access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
- Establish access control measures, determine security zones, and implement physical security systems to protect sensitive areas, assets, and information.
- Ensuring the proper functioning of the surveillance system, this includes regular testing and maintenance of all equipment, as well as troubleshooting any problems that may arise.
- Responsible for live monitoring of cameras, reviewing recorded footage, and responding to alarms or other events 24 hours.
- Preparing reports on security incidents, documenting the incident, investigation, and any recommendations for preventing similar incidents in the future.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct investigations into security incidents, including theft, fraud, and other breaches, and collaborate with legal and HR teams as necessary.
- Design and manage budget planning and resource allocation for Security department, ensuring optimal utilization of available resources.
- Demonstrate the value of security spending by linking it to risk mitigation, business continuity, and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Following all safety regulations and procedures.
Job Requirements
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice or any related field.
Years of Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within a Corp. Security function.
Certificates:
- MBA Certificate is a plus.
- Certified Security Manager (CSM).
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
- Physical Security Professional (PSP).
