Job Description
Reporting to the Group Patient Safety and Risk Management Manager, the Patient Safety Specialist is responsible for fostering a culture of safety in SGH hospitals. The Patient Safety Specialist is responsible to identify and evaluate risks for harm to SGH patients.
The specialist will be responsible to identify, facilitate and evaluate patient safety improvement initiatives.Reporting to the Group Patient Safety and Risk Management Manager, the Patient Safety Specialist is responsible for fostering a culture of safety in SGH hospitals. The Patient Safety Specialist is responsible to identify and evaluate risks for harm to SGH patients.
The specialist will be responsible to identify, facilitate and evaluate patient safety improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in a healthcare related discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years work experience in a healthcare setting in a patient safety and risk management position
- CPHQ/ CPPS certifications
- Experience and knowledge in quality improvement principles
- Proficient in data analysis and data reporting, highly computer literate
- Preferred : Lean six sigma yellow/ green/ black belt - Total Quality Management Diploma
