Job Description
- Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
- Update the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to a consultant for approvals.
- Prepare Shop Drawings Details for Site Use and can Review technical matters affecting cost on shop dwgs
- Prepare Submittals needed for consultant approval (dwgs,bill of quantities,details )with the number of copies needed
- Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
- Review Drawings and prepare Detailed quantity needs
- Prepare contracts and documents
- Track changes in plans or constructions; update Quantities and Cost
- Keep track of construction materials and inventory
- Prepare and revise quantities payments for contractors and subcontractors
- Utilize software to calculate, record, and track inventory and estimates
- Can Help in tendering and Cost estimating Procedures
- Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand over to the project consultant
Job Requirements
- Engineers with similar experience for at least 4 years in reputable companies working in Treatment plants
- Computer skills and English proficiency is a must
- Working with an international consultant is preferred
