Job Description
BD Associate is responsible for the following:
Fresh Greens (40% of time)
- Conducting agreements with supermarkets and restaurants
- Identifying new sales opportunities in bulk/ wholesale
- Evaluating export opportunities
- Collecting customer (supermarkets, etc.) and end consumer feedback on produce
- Developing sales tool kits in collaboration with marketing
- Keeping track of sales volumes & following up with distribution team
- Coordinating crop growing schedule with production team and creating overall sales plan
- Testing dried products in our small drier and evaluating expansion opportunities (export requirements, certifications, potential customers, etc.)
Landscape Design - Vertical Farming - Green Walls (60% of time)
- Identifying new business opportunities/leads
- Conducting site visits & closing deals
- Keeping track of sales pipeline and follow up items
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- This position requires a highly motivated individual that can work in a fast moving environment.
- Willingness to move around and meet with many potential customers
- 2-5 years of experience preferred.
