Job Description
- Review the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), etc.) in order to properly execute materials supply to projects’ sites.
- Draft Request for Information (RFI) and/or Request for Clarification to the client to solve all discrepancies or contradictions within the contract documents.
- Work on clients’ requests out of the preset scope and draft ‘Request for Variation’ to issue Variation Orders (VOs) in both technical and commercial offers.
- Monitor stored materials and regularly update inventory to be ahead of supplies.
- Initiate the Purchas Orders (POs) for the procurement to execute then and make sure that materials are being delivered at the previously set dates.
- Inspect delivered materials to the site in order to match them with their requests.
- Administer subcontractors’ invoices in order to maintain immediate payment for service providers.
- Control cost of material for the project and consistently report it to properly manage the project’s budgeting of electrical materials.
- Submit “Shop Drawing status, Subcontractor Building as Signed, PR & PO status” reports periodically to facilitate communication and provide insights for the management.
