Job Description
- Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities.
- Obtain factored / sub supplier costs where necessary
- Preparation of Quantities from AutoCAD and preparation of Bill of Quantities required to obtain the necessary Proposals
- Ensuring Quantities from AutoCAD are matching As Built Quantities on site
- Prepare technical & commercial proposals
- Attend clarification meetings with Client when required.
- All in-house co-ordination for preparation of bid including follow-up, collection of input from various sub-contractors or 3rd party.
- Clear understanding of work scope & best estimation with respect to execution of project.
- Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines
- Participate in and actively support company initiatives.
- Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements
- Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks
- Prepare / Review the preparation of the construction schedule, providing manhours and equipment requirement for each activity and also ensure correctness to capture anticipated durations and manning
- Ensure that Clients pricing and technical tender schedules are complete and accurate.
- Organise Budget Handover Meetings to Project Managers.
- Maintain Lessons Learnt database from existing projects.
- Assist Proposals Manager in other various departmental development work
- All other duties as relevant to the post
Job Requirements
- BSc in Architecture Engineering or Similar
- Experience of dealing with complex tenders
- Experience of contract negotiation in a commercial environment
- General MS Office Program skills
- Knowledge on Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Excellence in AutoCAD
